Job summary

The Alden Network seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide residents with daily nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies, under supervision, ensuring the highest quality of care.

You will assist with activities of daily living, observe residents, document changes, and cooperate with the care team to maintain a warm, safe, and respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete nursing arts course in an accredited program.
• Must be at least 16 years old with good character.
• Provide evidence of residence for two years prior to employment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certificate or obtain within two weeks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care to residents per standards and policies.
• Assist with activities of daily living as directed by staff.
• Maintain accurate intake/output records and report changes to nursing staff.
• Observe residents and report health changes to the nurse.
• Support a calm, safe, and compassionate environment within the unit.
