Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in an accredited Sonography program.
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Performs cardiac ultrasound procedures including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler and Color Flow Doppler to obtain accurate results.
• Identifies cardiac abnormalities and extends the examination as needed.
• Prepares patients and gathers clinical history to tailor imaging techniques.
• Assists with transesophageal studies under cardiologist supervision.
• Communicates findings to staff and maintains lab equipment.
