Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in sonography.
• Typically requires 2 years of cardiovascular sonography experience.
• RDCS-AE or RCS registration with ARDMS or CCI and BLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures (M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, Color Flow).
• Assists physicians in cath lab or EP labs as needed to support procedures.
• Prepares patients and collects history to tailor imaging techniques.
• Maintains echocardiography lab equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Ensures quality processes and participates in quarterly reviews.
