Pasadena Villa is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients during a 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including weekends. The role involves rounds, safety checks, and facilitating therapeutic activities while documenting care and coordinating with nursing staff.

The candidate should have a High School diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least 1 year in behavioral health, with CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a behavioral healthcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client rounding and safety checks are completed per clinical criteria.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities across the milieu and groups.
• Prompt ADLs, meals, laundry, hygiene; supervise and structure mealtimes.
• Document services, incidents, and shift reports promptly and accurately.
• Communicate safety risks and coordinate healthcare visits with nursing.
• Maintain orderly therapeutic environment and support medication compliance.
• Assist with admissions and smooth transitions for new clients.
