Pasadena Villa – The Grove seeks a Full-time Day Shift Behavioral Health Technician to join our residential psychiatric care team. You will help maintain a therapeutic milieu, support clients with daily living activities, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure safety and effective care.

The role emphasizes crisis de-escalation, documentation, and active participation in group therapies, with a strong focus on DBT-informed care and professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record required.
• CPR/First Aid certification and DBT knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical team to determine appropriate interventions.
• Engage clients in milieu and group activities throughout the day.
• Supervise meals and assist with ADLs, including monitoring medication administration when needed.
• Document services provided, incidents, shift notes, and group/milieu activities.
