STR Bucks is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in a 2nd shift role in Levittown, PA. The technician assists with ADLs, maintains safety, and supports a therapeutic milieu while documenting client information for the clinical team.

The role requires experience with substance abuse or mental health clients, CPR/First Aid certification, and willingness to complete required CPI/BHT training. The position emphasizes collaboration with staff and providers to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issues.
• 1 year of supervision experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine appropriate interventions based on client needs.
• Prompts clients to complete ADLs and maintains room hygiene checks.
• Conducts drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as necessary.
• Maintains a therapeutic environment and interacts with clients in group and 1:1 settings.
• Documents services, incidents, shift and milieu notes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Transportes clients to appointments and supports client management in community settings.
