Job summary

Renaissance Healthcare Group, LLC DBA Pasadena Villa is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). The role involves supporting residents, ensuring safety, and maintaining a therapeutic milieu within the facility.

You will document client progress and communicate with the clinical team to address needs. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least 1 year of behavioral healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health.
• Able to work 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client rounding and safety checks per clinical criteria.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities during shifts.
• Prompt ADLs, assist with hygiene, laundry, and room upkeep.
• Monitor meals and supervise meals as needed.
• Document services, incident reports, and shift notes accurately.
• Coordinate healthcare visits with nursing staff.
• Maintain safe, therapeutic environment and well-being of residents.
• Support medication compliance by prompting residents to nursing for meds.
• Assist with admissions and smooth transitions for new clients.
