The Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is seeking a friendly server to deliver exemplary guest service in our Food & Beverage team. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, and support the culinary team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of serving experience, knowledge of MICROS, and the ability to handle cash. TIPS and ServSafe certifications are preferred; weekend and holiday shifts are required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience.
• Must acquire TIPS and ServSafe certifications.
• Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting wines.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Clear and pleasant English communication with guests and staff.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests and use proper surname when available.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Suggestively sell items and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements and dietary needs.
• Record transactions in MICROS and process payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with each course and service.
• Be pleasant, smile, and greet guests as per Omni standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
