Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a higher education setting, especially in a student support or accommodations office, is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience with database systems, scheduling software, and proctoring procedures is beneficial.
  • Candidates should have excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Close the Accommodated Testing Office in the evenings, serving as on-site supervisor for student staff and proctors.
  • Proctor students taking exams to ensure compliance with university honor code and testing integrity.
  • Coordinate exam schedules with faculty and maintain accurate schedules and accommodations database.
  • Troubleshoot assistive technology or exam software issues during testing.
  • Communicate with faculty to obtain missing exams and plan alternate arrangements as needed.
  • Ensure exam materials and devices are securely stored and the testing spaces are left organized.
