Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Advisor to be the primary contact for owners, guiding them through the service experience with empathy and clarity. This role collaborates with the service team to translate vehicle needs into actionable steps, while upholding Rivian’s hospitality and brand standards.

The position spans scheduling, estimates, invoicing, and coordination with Parts/Production, with opportunities across levels based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is required.
• Automotive service experience is a plus but not required for entry-level roles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Must be able to work a 40-hour week including weekends/holidays.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners from appointment to handover.
• Listen to concerns and document them clearly in the repair order.
• Translate technician notes into clear owner explanations.
• Provide regular updates on vehicle status and timelines.
• Coordinate with Parts and Production to align service steps.
• Prepare and explain estimates and invoices clearly.
• Maintain meticulous records of communications and repairs.
• Uphold Rivian hospitality, presentation, and process standards.
• Liaise between Rivian Service Support Operations and local centers.
• Support launch and setup of new Service Centers and training.
• Assist in warranty repairs and ensure compliance.
