Job summary

Lucid Motors in Millbrae, CA is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the service journey. You will greet clients, consult with technicians, document concerns, explain options and estimates, track vehicles, and ensure Lucid quality standards before handover.

You will manage loaner programs, assist with warranties and invoicing, collect payments for repairs, and communicate clearly to customers about the work performed.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years automotive service advisor/front-of-house experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
• Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
• Ability to articulate and document details to ensure smooth workflow
• Ability to explain automotive terminology to customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and DMS software
• Full-time, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods
• Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post hire
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year; age 21+ if applicable

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage initial contact through vehicle handover
• Conduct thorough inspections and document vehicle condition
• Check in new vehicles and document transport damage
• Coordinate loaner agreements and Lyft rides as needed
• Maintain CSI KPI by ensuring high service quality
• Review work orders with technicians for accuracy and timing
• Address warranty claim rejections promptly
• Obtain signatures for service authorization and invoices; collect payments
• Explain repairs and invoices to customers to ensure understanding
• Answer calls, answer questions, and route messages as needed
• Ensure final QC checks meet Lucid standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
