Job summary

Rivian is seeking a dynamic Retail and Delivery Manager to scale operations with purpose. You will own the full customer journey—from engagement to vehicle delivery—overseeing sales, logistics, and last-mile delivery within your locations.

You will lead a high-impact team, drive performance, and ensure every customer interaction reflects Rivian’s brand values. Cross-functional collaboration and data-driven process refinement are key to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in field sales; 2+ field leadership, preferably multi-unit management.
• Retail, sales, hospitality or similar fields highly preferred; direct-to-consumer and/or commission-based sales experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of the EV industry, including market dynamics and regulatory considerations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant working experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays; travel up to 75% as needed.
• Extensive experience with P&L, POS and CRM software.
• Expertise in human resources, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and performance management.
• Comfortable operating large, high-performance vehicles and conducting demo drives with customers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence with an excellent driving record; eligible to obtain one within 60 days if needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure best-in-class customer experience across your region, aligned with Rivian’s values.
• Drive sales performance and execute strategic initiatives to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
• Own, track, and deliver on KPIs, aligning team performance with company objectives.
• Oversee vehicle delivery process from prep to handoff, including paperwork and logistics coordination.
• Collaborate with Service, Vehicle Operations and other departments to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Optimize staffing to meet customer demand with efficient schedules and shifts.
• Plan and execute activations and events to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
• Manage store finances, payroll budgeting, and enforce policy to protect revenue.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Rivian policies.
