Job summary

Rivian in Kentucky is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician to disassemble and reassemble EV propulsion components returned from service centers. You will record component conditions and critical data throughout the remanufacturing process, ensuring quality and traceability while supporting cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and a customer-first mindset, with opportunities to learn, travel occasionally, and contribute to continuous improvements in production and testing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Identify electrical and mechanical components used in EV propulsion systems.
• Basic understanding of testing low or high voltage circuits.
• Operate hand tools including torque wrenches.
• Stand 8–10 hours per day.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, record condition, and reassemble field return parts.
• Support cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
• Assist senior technicians with receiving tests, repairs, and end-of-line tests.
• Inspect, identify, and report inspection findings.
• Meet production goals and maintain safety and 5S standards.
• Document repairs completed and in progress.
• Travel up to 5% may be required.
