Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician in Kentucky to disassemble and reassemble Rivian powertrain components and record their condition during the process. You will contribute to reliability tracking and quality data while collaborating with service centers and production teams.

Ideal candidates will be open to new ideas, have a customer-first approach, and a collaborative mindset. The role requires standing for long periods and travel up to 5% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components used in EV propulsion systems.
• Basic understanding of testing low/high voltage electrical circuits.
• Ability to operate hand tools including torque wrenches.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to meet production outputs and adapt to production mindset.
• Willingness to work alternate shifts if needed.
• Must be 21+ years old and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly, recording condition, and assembly of field return parts.
• Support cross-functional teams to identify root causes of issues.
• Assist senior technicians with tests, repairs, and end-of-line tests.
• Inspect and report inspection findings accurately.
• Meet production goals and support campaigns and containment.
• Maintain safe and organized work environment (5S).
• Document repairs and processes accurately.
• Travel up to ~5% as needed.
• Collaborate with field service, production, and product development teams.
