Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician in Kentucky to disassemble and reassemble EV powertrain components, recording conditions and data to track reliability. You will work with service centers and production teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, hands-on experience with tools, and the ability to read electrical diagrams. Expect 5S workspace practices, occasional travel, and a customer-first mindset in a dynamic EV

Qualifications

• Identify electrical and mechanical components used in EV propulsion systems (mechanical and electrical).
• Basic understanding of testing low or high voltage electrical circuits.
• Ability to operate hand tools including torque wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, record condition, and reassemble field return parts.
• Support root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with tests, repairs, and end-of-line checks by senior technicians.
• Inspect and report inspection findings accurately.
• Meet production goals and support campaign activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized 5S workspace and document repairs clearly.
• Travel may be required to support business needs.
