Job summary

Rivian Automotive in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, seeks a hands-on Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to drive HV battery remanufacturing. As Remanufacturing Engineer II, you’ll blend fundamentals with first-principles to meet performance and sustainability standards.

You will oversee HV battery components, lead root-cause investigations, and collaborate with Process/Test Engineering and Operations to optimize yield and tooling.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with 1–3+ years experience in mechanical or electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills anchored in engineering principles.
• Interest in electro-mechanical products and diagnostics testing.

Responsibilities

• Own HV battery pack components and remanufactured assets.
• Lead deep-dive investigations into failures and implement solutions.
• Improve yield, reduce waste, and optimize assembly processes.
• Serve as technical link between Process/Test Eng and Operations.
• Manage suppliers for rapid change implementations.
