Job summary
Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Process Development Operations Engineer within the ATP organization to lead the development of new manufacturing technologies for EV powertrain platforms. You will work across PD and GME teams to align technology roadmaps and deliver scalable solutions for Global EV facilities.
You will manage prototypes, mentor teams, and ensure rigorous validation using Six Sigma and data-driven methods before production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
- Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
- Adept with digital 3D/simulation tools and methods is expected.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and scale new manufacturing technology for product programs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver prototype tooling and equipment.
- Create core technology documentation for knowledge transfer across sites.
- Collaborate with PD and GME to align initiatives with manufacturing goals.
