You will shape concept designs with design studio and marketing, guide development from prototype to production, and validate designs for reliability, while enabling rapid prototyping and system integration across vehicle platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in ME or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on industry experience.
• Experience with design, characterization, and validation of consumer electronics, vehicle systems, input devices and/or HMI.

Responsibilities

• Lead ME team: direct 2-3 junior mechanical engineers on production-intent product line.
• Concept design: collaborate with design studio/product/marketing on new electromechanical features.
• Product development: drive development from concept through prototyping to production release.
• Bring up and validation: test designs for reliability; implement changes.
• Rapid prototyping: create quick designs using off-the-shelf parts or rapid fabrication.
• System integration: work with other teams to integrate designs into vehicles.
