Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Livonia, MI seeks a PD Engineer to own 10 speed RWD hybrid propulsion systems integration. You will manage CAD/BOM structures, drive design improvements, and lead root-cause investigations with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, 2+ years in automotive transmissions, and CAD experience. Hybrid/Emotor experience is a plus. Hybrid onsite four+ days, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
• Experience with automotive transmissions and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, validation, and launch of 10 speed RWD hybrid propulsion systems.
• Manage CAD/BOM structures and release processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet cost, quality, and timing goals.
• Perform feasibility analyses (draft angle, undercut, bend radius) for manufacturing.
