Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Process Development Operations Engineer within the ATP organization. You will lead the development of new manufacturing technologies for EV powertrain systems, collaborating with Product Design and Global Manufacturing Engineering to deliver Ford Firsts to Ford’s EV portfolio.

You will drive technology roadmaps, manage prototype tooling, and coordinate cross-site implementation across Ford Global EV facilities, mentoring teams and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Industrial/Systems Engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Adept with Digital 3D/Simulation Tools and Methods – AutoCAD, 3DX, CATIA, Siemens TeamCenter.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale New Manufacturing Technology for Product Programs aligned to PD and GME strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop and deliver prototype tooling and equipment.
• Establish and cascade Manufacturing Technology Development Roadmaps for EV Core Commodity Areas.
• Benchmark industry practices and follow technology trends.
• Manage project portfolios including budgets, supplier coordination, and documentation.
