Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. Based in Phoenix, AZ, the role may involve travel to production plants and customer sites, and requires a collaborative, team‑oriented approach to work in a dynamic environment.

You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform road tests, manage parts, and document all work with clarity and professionalism in customer‑facing situations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record for 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Rivian vehicles, at service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures using available technical resources.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
