Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role is based in Colorado with potential travel to production sites and customer locations, requiring a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.

This is a level-agnostic posting spanning entry to senior technicians; expect diagnostics, repairs, and field support across diverse sites while maintaining safety and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work experience in automotive shop preferred.
• EV/Hybrid repair knowledge a plus.
• Open to multiple levels from entry to senior technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles at service centers or in the field.
• Explain Rivian products, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
