Job summary

Rivian in Arizona is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs across service centers and field locations. You will work in a dynamic team, traveling as needed to production plants or customer sites.

The role is level-agnostic, open to entry to senior technicians, with opportunities to learn and grow within Rivian's EV platform. This position requires a valid driver's license, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible scheduling including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer preferred.
• 40-hour work week; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Proficient with Windows or Mac environments.
• Strong organizational skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fluent reading and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles at service centers or in the field.
• Explain Rivian product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with available resources without compromising safety.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Provide feedback to senior technicians or leadership.
• Support service campaigns and containment initiatives.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with teammates and maintain high-quality work.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Stay current with required training.
