Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. Based in Atlanta, GA, the role may involve remote work or traveling to various locations including the production plant to provide vehicle support as needed.

This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles at service centers or on-site, explaining Rivian’s EV framework, coordinating parts, documenting work, and collaborating with teammates to ensure quality and safety. Opportunities exist across levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean driving record with valid license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fluent in English.
• EV or hybrid repair experience is a plus.
• Hands-on automotive shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles in-service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures while ensuring safety and quality.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations including ordering and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
