Rivian is seeking an entry- to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections and field service operations, under mentorship from senior technicians. Based at a local service center, you may travel for mobile service and support plant operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive shop/tech experience.
• Basic EV/hybrid exposure or startup experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with diagnostics, repairs, installations, and inspections at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality.
• Conduct road tests after repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, inventory, work orders.
• Document detailed notes for internal/external use.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners.
• Identify improvement areas and participate in campaigns.
• Engage in required training and maintain high-quality work with supervision as needed.
