Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs across service centers and customer locations. The role may require travel to various sites, including the production plant, and involves diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting vehicles with a team-focused approach.

The position is level-agnostic to recruit technicians across seniority levels, with responsibilities spanning parts management, field tests, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive experience preferred; open to entry-level technicians
• EV/hybrid repair experience a plus
• Experience with parts departments, billing, and work order systems preferred
• Willingness to travel to various locations including production plant as needed

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or on-site
• Explain Rivian product line and EV framework to customers
• Follow Rivian repair procedures and maintain safety standards
• Conduct road tests to validate repairs and performance
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory
