Rivian in New York is seeking an emerging to mid‑level Technician to grow technically while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work under mentorship to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations, with potential remote work or travel for mobile service.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognised equivalency preferred.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record (no suspensions or revocations within the past 3‑5 years).
• Ability to drive a non‑commercial truck and trailer is preferred.
• Availability for a standard 40‑hour work week, including potential shifts on weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, or overnights based on business needs.
• Flexibility for travel to regional locations or production facilities as needed.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments, as well as work order management systems.
• Eagerness to learn, strong organisational skills, time management, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Vehicle Service & Repair: Perform or assist with diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at a service centre, mobile route, or remote location.
• Technical Guidance & Learning: Learn to identify and explain the product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Procedure & Safety Adherence: Follow repair procedures efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct road tests post‑repair to verify quality and safety.
• Parts & Operations Management: Assist with parts operations, including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory tracking.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical notes for all repairs for internal and external use.
• Customer Interaction: Maintain high professionalism when interacting with customers and suppliers.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Professional Growth: Engage in required training and maintain high‑quality work with minimal supervision as experience increases.
