Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will work under the guidance of senior technicians and leaders, primarily at a local service center with potential mobile routes or plant support as needed.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning, strong communication, and a passion for innovation. You'll grow technical skills while delivering excellent customer experiences in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-3 years hands-on automotive experience; entry level welcome.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship from senior technicians.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety; assist with parts operations and inventory.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and partners at facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in training and campaigns as needed.
