Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. Role may require travel to various locations, including the production plant, with a 4:30pm–1am shift and a 15% pay differential between 6pm and 6am.

Strong collaboration and safety mindset are essential. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing vehicles, managing parts, and documenting work while maintaining professional communication with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong reading/communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service center or in the field.
• Explain Rivian products and EV framework to customers.
• Follow repair procedures with quality and safety in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts through ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and maintain professional customer interactions.
