Job summary

Orange EV is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and provide root cause analysis for local Orange EV vehicles in the field. You will interpret Remote Monitoring System data, record service activities, and collaborate with customers and third-party providers to ensure efficient repairs.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, potential travel for training, and delivering maintenance training to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; related technical degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in the automotive or electrical industries.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, TEAMS).
• Analytical approach to problem solving and strong customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 75-100 lbs; physically capable for field work.
• Willing to travel for training and field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Orange EV vehicles in the field.
• Represent Orange EV in a professional manner.
• Use Remote Monitoring System data to plan service actions.
• Record all service activity accurately in the service system.
• Communicate with customers and third-party providers to resolve issues.
• Coordinate charging infrastructure logistics with site managers and electricians.
• Prepare reports on vehicle condition and service planning.
• Support customers and third-party technicians with repairs as needed.
• Provide a secure space for tools and parts at customer sites.
• Deliver Operator and Maintenance training and support sales efforts.
• Travel as needed for training and to meet service goals.
