Job summary

Orange EV is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service electric vehicles regionally. The role includes analyzing Remote Monitoring System data, recording work and reports, and collaborating with customers and third-party providers to ensure efficient repairs.

You will plan field service strategy with the team, assist with upgrades, and travel for training to meet regional service goals while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; related technical degree preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in the automotive or electrical industries.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, TEAMS).

Responsibilities

• Understand the complete vehicle at a systemic level to diagnose and repair.
• Represent Orange EV in a professional manner.
• Utilize the Remote Monitoring System and Service Record Keeping System to plan service.
• Accurately record all service activity in the service system.
• Communicate with customers and third-party providers to aid diagnosis and escalation.
• Collaborate with site manager and electrician on charging infrastructure logistics.
• Evaluate vehicle conversion candidates and prepare condition reports.
• Support Customer Technicians and Third-Party Providers with repairs.
• Provide secure storage for tools and parts and deliver training.
• Travel for initial training and to meet service goals.
