Job summary

Orange EV in Seattle is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service for local EV fleets. You will diagnose, repair, and provide root-cause analysis, leverage remote monitoring data, and document all work with reports.

This role requires 1+ year in automotive/electrical fields, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong customer service skills. You will travel as needed to train and support the service team, with opportunities to grow in a fast-changing EV environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in automotive or electrical industries.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, TEAMS).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to component level.
• Use Remote Monitoring System to identify performance issues.
• Record service activity in the service records system.
• Coordinate with customers and third-party providers for repairs.
• Support sales and marketing with technical insights.
• Perform field upgrades or retrofits as needed.
• Assist with tool and parts warehousing.
• Travel for initial training and to meet service goals.
