Job summary

Pearce is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to service EV charging stations across a defined region. The role requires working a Saturday-Wednesday schedule, independent field work, and rigorous safety practices including PPE use.

Responsibilities include testing, repairing, and upgrading Level 2 to DC fast chargers, performing insulation tests, and documenting field reports with CMMS. Candidates should have 2+ years experience and strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting

Qualifications

• 2+ years equivalent experience servicing electrical power equipment.
• Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• CMMS experience to generate and track site work requirements.
• Excellent English reading, writing and speaking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades on EV chargers.
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imaging and torque checks.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning to keep maintenance schedules on track.
• Review site manuals/drawings to ensure proper servicing.
• Complete field work, reporting and documentation in the system.
