Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a regional area. The role emphasizes safety, electrical maintenance, and accurate field reporting to meet contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate will work independently in the field, own assigned tasks from scheduling through completion, and continually improve technical skills while supporting customers and operations.

Competenze

• 2+ years′ equivalent experience in EVSE field service servicing electrical power equipment in commercial or utility energy field.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Technical knowledge of EV chargers, solar power installations, or power electronics is valued.
• Experience using CMMS to generate, track, and complete site work requirements.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Mansioni

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and preventive/corrective maintenance across EV charging equipment from Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers.
• Conduct electrical testing (megger, insulation, thermal imaging) and other diagnostic tests.
• Troubleshoot system performance, identify faults, and determine corrective actions.
• Review site manuals/drawings and complete work safely and effectively.
• Document field reports, work orders, and site conditions; communicate deficiencies timely.
