Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Electrician to perform onsite maintenance and repair of EV charging stations across the assigned region. The role requires independent work in varying field conditions, adherence to safety, and the ability to complete site reports and work orders.

The position emphasizes electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, coordination with planning teams, and documentation of site activities.

Formación

• Electrical – Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) from a relevant state (REQUIRED).
• 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Technical knowledge of EV chargers, solar power installations, or other power electronics is preferred, but not required.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate, track, and complete site work requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties, interpret technical instructions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades/revisions to EV charging equipment ranging from Level 2 chargers to DC Fast Chargers.
• Perform testing on equipment including insulation testing, thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate faults.
• Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling to ensure maintenance schedules are met and work orders completed on time.
• Review site manuals/drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment.
• In-field electrical and mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance, field reporting, and work order completion.
