Job summary

Pearce Services is hiring an EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a defined region. The role requires independent work in the field, following safety protocols and contractual requirements.

You will perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on Level 2 and DC fast chargers, using CMMS to document work orders and reporting side conditions to the planning team. Strong electrical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical – Journeyman electrician license from a relevant state.
• 2+ years’ experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial or utility energy fields.
• Troubleshoot power electronics including EV chargers and solar installations.
• Experience using a CMMS to generate and track site work requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• English reading/writing/speaking for safety and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV chargers and related equipment.
• Test insulation, thermal imagery, torque, and performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot system performance and locate ground faults.
• Collaborate with Planning to adhere to maintenance schedules and complete work orders.
• Review site manuals/drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance.
• In-field preventive and corrective maintenance and site reporting.
