Job summary

ChargeTronix in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks an EV Charger Technical Support Specialist to diagnose and repair DC chargers, provide customer and field technician support, and review tickets. You will troubleshoot issues, prepare equipment, parts, and scope of work for field resolutions.

The role requires a strong electrical background, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Domestic travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or power electronics preferred.
• Strong understanding of hardware and PCB functionality.
• Hands-on experience with low voltage components (12V/24V).
• Experience in technical support or field service, EV industry preferred.
• Good communication to translate technical info for non-technical audiences.
• Willing to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous technical support via written and verbal communication.
• Diagnose EV charger issues remotely and implement solutions efficiently.
• Assist with installation procedures, configuration, diagnostics, and software updates.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions in a CRM/Ticketing system.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and sales to improve products.
• Work independently and meet deadlines; travel as needed.
