Job summary

ChargeTronix in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an EV Charger Technical Support Specialist to diagnose and repair DC EV chargers, provide technical assistance to customers and field technicians, and review customer tickets for timely resolutions.

You will troubleshoot issues, prepare equipment and scopes of work for field service, document interactions in CRM, and collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales to improve products. Travel domestically as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of hardware, PCB functionality, and low voltage components.
• Experience in technical support or field service, preferably in EV/charging industry.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and basic Linux networking.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous technical support to customers via written and verbal communication.
• Diagnose issues with EV charging equipment remotely and implement solutions.
• Assist with installation procedures, configuration, diagnosis and software updates for EV charging stations.
• Maintain records in a CRM/Ticketing system and create troubleshooting guides to aid customers.
