Job summary

Chargetronix, a leader in modular EV charging, seeks an EV Charger Technical Support Specialist to diagnose and repair DC chargers. You’ll support customers and field technicians, troubleshoot issues, and help install and update software. Strong electrical background and clear communication are essential.

From your home base in Costa Mesa, CA, you will travel domestically as needed and collaborate with engineering and sales to deliver top-tier service and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, power electronics or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of hardware and PCB functionality.
• Hands-on experience with low voltage components (12v/24v).
• Experience in technical support or field service in EV industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous technical support to customers via written and verbal communication.
• Diagnose technical issues with EV charging equipment remotely.
• Assist customers and field technicians with installation procedures, configuration, diagnosis and software updates.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM/Ticketing system and develop troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales to improve product and resolve complex issues.
