Job summary

RJI Search is seeking EV/AV Vehicle Technicians to perform hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for a fleet of test vehicles. You will work with the Shop Foreman and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous vehicle improvement in a fast-paced shop.

This role emphasizes electrical diagnostics, documentation of service work, and organization of tools and inventory. Nice-to-have experience includes R&D lab environments, CAN systems, wiring diagrams, and high voltage

Qualifications

Hands-on automotive technician experience in maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
Ideally within a dealership or OEM environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with deep knowledge of vehicle systems, tools, parts, and repair techniques.
Very comfortable performing automotive electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Strong communication skills and ability to document service work clearly and accurately.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR, background check, and drug screening.
Able to obtain forklift/gantry certification post-hire.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot issues, coordinate repairs, diagnostics and repair electrical components.
Develop diagnostic test plans and maintain detailed service records.
Keep the workshop organized, including tools and parts inventory.
Support continuous vehicle testing and improvement initiatives.
