Avantor is seeking a Process Safety Manager – Europe to lead process safety, major accident prevention, and hazardous materials risk management across European operations. The role requires governance of PSM, MOC, and emergency preparedness, with about 35% travel to support audits and investigations.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and site leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, align with Seveso III and other regulations, and drive continuous improvement

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in process safety, EHS, or related fields.
• Experience with Seveso and European major accident prevention regulations.
• Proven ability to lead PSM programs and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for process safety programs across European operations.
• Ensure compliance with European and local process safety regulations and major accident prevention requirements.
• Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) using HAZOP, What-If, FMEA, and LOPA methods.
• Oversee Management of Change processes and risk mitigation actions.
• Provide process safety oversight for capital projects and new introductions.
• Lead incident investigations and organizational learning to drive improvements.
• Develop and deliver process safety training for employees and contractors.
