Job summary

3M is seeking a Process Safety Specialist – Global EHS. This remote-eligible role partners with worldwide teams to lead process safety, refine standards, and drive risk-reduction initiatives across facilities.

You will oversee hazard analyses, incident investigations, and compliance programs while collaborating with manufacturing technology leadership and CAPEX project teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in process safety, strong communication skills, and a track record in cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or science
• Five years of process safety experience
• Experience with hazard assessment tools and risk reduction strategies
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Project management experience
• Master’s degree or higher and professional certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical expertise for process safety globally, incl. training and audits
• Lead investigations of incidents and share learnings to prevent recurrence
• Review and guide HAZOP, LOPA, and management of change activities
• Collaborate with global EHS, operations, engineering and R&D teams
• Lead internal process safety networks and cross-site reviews
