Job summary

dss+ is seeking an experienced process safety professional to lead PSM and operational risk transformations for high-hazard environments in the United States. You will work with senior client leaders to craft practical interventions that move beyond compliance and embed resilient safety practices across operations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Process Safety Management or Operational Risk Management.
• Proven ability to design, implement or improve PSM programmes in operational settings.
• Strong consulting mindset with client engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring colleagues.
• Proven track record in high-hazard or asset-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver PSM and ORM transformation programmes across client organisations.
• Assess safety systems, identify gaps, and propose practical improvements.
• Design and implement PSM/ORM solutions aligned with client objectives and culture.
• Engage executives and frontline teams to translate strategy into action.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to build organisational capability in safety and risk.
