Job summary

Plaid Europe seeks an Implementation Engineer to own customer integrations from contract signature to live production. You will draft integration plans, lead kickoffs, and debug with customers’ engineers to ensure successful go-lives, expanding to new products and markets.

You’ll create scalable resources, such as checklists and playbooks, and work closely with Account Management to maintain strong relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., implementation, integration, solutions, or technical account management).
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, JSON, and SDKs (web/mobile).
• Proficient at reading API docs and using Postman or curl for debugging.
• Experience with SQL or other data querying tools.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of customer integrations from signature to production launch, including plans, milestones, and exit criteria.
• Run scheduled implementation support for standard integrations and targeted debugging with customer engineers.
• Lead technical onboarding for existing customers adopting a new Plaid product or market.
• Debug integration issues hands-on with customer engineers across API, SDK, OAuth, webhook behavior.
• Validate sandbox implementations and run go-live readiness checks.
• Produce written handovers to Account Management and maintain reusable implementation resources.
• Escalate recurring integration failures to Product and Engineering with evidence.
