Job summary

The Maryland Department of Labor, a part of the State of Maryland, is seeking a WIOA ETPL Manager in Baltimore to lead data collection, analysis, and reporting of program performance under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

The role oversees the statewide list of training providers, coordinates approvals with MHEC, ensures WIOA compliance, and serves as the key liaison between providers and the Department. Comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Experience: Six years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Substitution options: 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of required experience; Bachelor's degree with two years of applicable experience; Master's degree for five years; military service experience may count toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Statewide List of Occupational Training Providers to ensure providers are legally authorized in Maryland.
• Coordinate approvals with the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC).
• Maintain compliance with WIOA requirements and report program performance data.
• Serve as the primary liaison among training providers and the Department of Labor.
• Support provider inclusion and review applications for eligibility.
