Job summary

The Maryland Department of Human Services is seeking a Work Activity Coordinator to analyze customer data and employment goals, placing participants into job-readiness programs and securing supportive resources. You will monitor progress in both office and community settings, ensuring cross-system data accuracy within WORKS and E&E databases.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional or technical experience in human services program administration or in studies/analyses of programs.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for the required experience.
• U.S. Armed Forces experience as a commissioned officer may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify participant needs and develop individualized career plans.
• Provide targeted referrals to internal initiatives such as the Paid Internship Program and PA2E.
• Maintain accurate documentation including participant records, progress notes, and employment outcome tracking.
• Represent DHS at community outreach events and job fairs to engage partners and participants.
