Job summary

The Maryland Department of Human Services is seeking a Work Activity Coordinator to analyze participant data, support employment goals, and place customers into job-readiness initiatives while ensuring accurate cross-system data in WORKS and E&E databases. You will engage with participants in office and community settings to monitor progress and secure needed resources.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional or technical experience in administration of a human services program or analysis of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience; military service equivalent may substitute as well.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify participant needs and develop individualized career plans.
• Provide targeted referrals to internal initiatives such as Paid Internship Program and PA2E Program.
• Maintain precise documentation, including participant records, progress notes, and employment outcome tracking.
• Represent the organization at community outreach initiatives, job fairs, and related events.
