Job summary

BELFOR Environmental is seeking an Estimator to join our residential, commercial, and industrial teams. You will create and manage estimates using Xactimate, meet with clients, and oversee costs from proposal to completion, ensuring alignment with budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates have strong client communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Xactimate and MSDS data. This role offers growth within BELFOR's restoration expertise and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Understanding of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs.
• Must use BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Xactimate.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local area clientele; refer losses to grow book of business.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes.
• Develop and adhere to budgets; address overages as they appear.
• Use BELFOR naming conventions for estimates, proposals, and change orders.
• Manage construction schedule and coordinate with trades to ensure on-time completion.
• Demonstrate proficiency with decontamination, remediation, containment, and deodorization techniques.
• Participate in BELFOR University training and pass Level tests as required.
• Independently manage own work and ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Complete all accident, injury, and incident reporting forms timely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
