Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Estimator to create and manage estimates across residential, commercial, and industrial lines using Xactimate. You will meet with clients and manage work from inception to completion, reviewing budgets and communicating progress to management.

The position requires strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, plus knowledge of local building codes and BELFOR standards. Training opportunities lead toward higher Estimator levels.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Must use BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive Customer Service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Xactimate.
• Professional demeanor and appearance; excellent telephone skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and manage bids for residential, commercial, and industrial work.
• Meet with clients and manage work through completion.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Review invoices and labor to ensure costs are included.
• Maintain client relationships with insurers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and timelines.
• Assist in continued training and certification prep for Estimator levels.
