Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Estimator to create and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial losses using Xactimate, meeting with clients, and guiding projects from start to finish. In this role you will review budgets, monitor costs, and ensure accurate invoicing while maintaining strong communication with clients and management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Understanding of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs.
• Must use BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates and proposals.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with Xactimate.
• Professional demeanor and appearance with excellent telephone skills.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional interaction with co-workers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial losses.
• Meet with clients to understand scope and build quality, competitive estimates.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch and apply codes.
• Monitor budgets and address overages; ensure costs are included in monthly job costs.
• Review invoices and labor to ensure timely billing and accuracy.
• Maintain safety, scheduling, and coordination with trades and management.
• Adhere to BELFOR conventions for estimates, proposals, and change orders.
• Participate in training and certification as part of career progression.
